Our History
2023
Continued to enhance resources for families and educators.
Launched priority scholar workshops, including career readiness and social justice retreats.
Expanded support to include ninth-grade scholars transitioning to high school.
Scholars participated in a Chicago cultural enrichment trip.
Hosted first Michigan GEAR UP Kick-Off to College event, serving 751 students

Supported 890 students across middle and high schools
2021
Provided Chromebooks for virtual learning and SAT preparation
2020
CEO received the GEAR UP grant, initiating a seven-year program
2019
College Day grant enabled U-M to serve 972 scholars through enrichment events
