About College Day

College Day is a partnership between the University of Michigan and the State of Michigan to provide free pre-college programs designed to inform, engage and inspire middle and high school students to reach post-secondary education by demystifying the college-going process, while building futures and inspiring young minds.

TARGET POPULATION

Michigan schools with 50% or more of their students receiving free or reduced lunch

 

WHAT COLLEGE DAY OFFERS:

  • Help with creating and sustaining a college-going culture
  • Summer programs at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor
  • Interactive & customized campus visits
  • College Readiness & Career Exploration workshops and activities during and after school
  • SAT and test prep workshops
