About Wolverine Express

The Wolverine Express is a high school visitation program in which a diverse team of U-M faculty, staff and students travel to high schools located across the state of Michigan to promote college access, readiness and success. During the Wolverine Express visit, U-M volunteers:

  • Inform students about diverse academic fields, resources and pathways to college
  • Engage students in discussion, hands-on activities, and interactive experiences about college and exciting career options
  • Inspire students by sharing powerful stories about U-M faculty and staff educational journeys
