William (Nick), a native of Detroit, earned his bachelor’s degree and his doctorate in psychology from the University of Michigan. From 1992 to 2008, he served as Director of the U-M’s Comprehensive Studies Program and Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology. Collins has previously served as Director of the Learning Skills Center at Cornell University and as Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Kim is a passionate, data-driven educator focused on advancing equity in education. She received her PhD from the U-M’s Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education, a master’s in teaching from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s in English language and literature from Miami University. She comes to CEO from the Achievement Network (ANet) in Detroit, where she served as the Managing Director of School Support. Previously, Kim worked in urban education as a high school English teacher in Washington, D.C. Public Schools and as a college counselor at a Washington, D.C., Public Charter High School.

Mollie is a native of Jackson, Michigan and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Arabic, Islamic studies, and history and her master’s in educational policy and leadership from U-M’s School of Education. Her passion lies in serving at-risk youth. During her graduate studies, Mollie interned at the Peace Neighborhood Center in Ann Arbor to support its after-school program. She also taught for two years at a college in Jackson, Michigan, where she helped non-traditional students reach their academic and professional goals. Mollie is proud to be serving her alma mater and communities throughout the state of Michigan.

From K-12 outreach to alumni engagement, Adam’s experience in higher education spans the student lifecycle. At CEO, he is involved in overall operations, including the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of CEO’s activities. Adam earned his master’s degree from the University of Michigan in higher education administration, with concentrations in diversity and social justice. He received his bachelor’s in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.

Sheri Samaha, a native of Ann Arbor, earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University and her master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling in Higher Education from Eastern Michigan University. Before CEO, Sheri served as an assistant director in U-M’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. At CEO, Sheri manages programs that inspire individuals to attend college, provide information outlining the value of a college degree, and engage students in developing an educational plan and life long career skills.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michael attended Southern Methodist University where he received his bachelor’s degree in the fine and performing arts. Prior to joining CEO, Michael served youth and families in southwest Detroit coordinating and facilitating K-12 co-curricular programs. Michael has used his educational background and personal experiences to reach out to youth in every capacity. He is currently pursing his masters in social work with a concentration in families and children at Eastern Michigan University.

Originally from New Jersey, Andrea has over 10 years of experience in program and project management, education, youth empowerment, and capacity building. Prior to CEO, Andrea served as the community education coordinator in the city of Flint where she managed the development and implementation of the community schools model in two Flint schools. She is an Ameri Corps and Teach for America alumni. Andrea earned her Master’s degree from the University of Chicago where she studied social work administration with a concentration in community schools. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology and African American studies from Rutgers University.
