Supporting Student Educational Outreach (SSEO)

The Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) is pleased to offer Supporting Student Educational Outreach (SSEO) grants in order to encourage U-M student involvement in K-12 educational outreach activities.

SSEO provides funding to support programs organized by student organizations that expose K-12 students to knowledge and opportunities that broaden their perspectives, minds and aspirations in regard to higher education. In particular, we encourage applications from student organizations for projects and activities focused on:

• Information & Exposure: Programs that provide information and expose the K‐12 population to the experiences and possibilities provided by a higher education.

• Talent Development: Programs that focus on developing interests and abilities among students for specific fields or disciplines (i.e. Engineering, Writing, Mathematics and etc.)
